Volunteering Victoria is supportive of the Australian Government's proposed National Compact with the Third or the Not-for-Profit Sector.

We seek an inclusive process that allows for active engagement by as many in the volunteering community as possible.

We have focused in this written submission on the volunteering community and the issues and concerns surrounding it, particularly in the way that its members can actively and effectively respond to the proposed compact. We have expressed our thoughts on areas of the consultation paper which we think can be improved to allow for maximum participation. We also presented recommendations and suggestions that are particularly pertinent to volunteering.
