Take part in Volunteering Victoria’s social media campaign acknowledging the role of volunteers in our communities during times of crisis. You can take part in the campaign by:

For Mayors and councilors

  • Take photos with your volunteer in your community (e.g: landcare groups, sports groups, aged care volunteers or any other organisation with volunteers!) and post it on social media during National Volunteer Week using the hashtags #thankyou #VolVic #NVW2021 #Victoria
  • Tell your story – why are volunteers important in your area?
  • Add your own hashtags and spread the love!

For Members of Parliament (MPs):

  • Take photos with your volunteer in your electorate and post it on social media during National Volunteer Week using the hashtags #thankyou #VolVic #NVW2021 #Victoria
  • Tell your story – why are volunteers important in your area?
  • Add your own hashtags and spread the love!

For volunteer-involving organisations:

  • Take photos with your volunteers and post it on social media during National Volunteer Week using the hashtags #thankyou #VolVic #NVW2021 #Victoria
  • Tell your story – why are volunteers important in your area?

We will showcase the best photos we see on social media of the excellent volunteering efforts around our state during National Volunteer Week.
