Congratulations to the winners of the 2025 Victorian Volunteering Awards, announced on Thursday 27 November 2025 at the RACV City Club in Melbourne.

Volunteering Victoria is proud to partner with the Victorian Government to present the 2025 Victorian Volunteering Awards, recognising the incredible contributions of volunteers who build stronger, more connected communities.

This year’s outstanding finalists and winners reflect the generosity, resilience and community spirit of Victorians from all corners of the state.

We thank every volunteer for their ongoing commitment to making Victoria a better place for everyone. Your efforts do not go unnoticed.

Winners of the individual awards are:

  • Volunteer of the Year – Dame Elisabeth Murdoch Award: Glenys Watts
  • Volunteer Leadership Award: Mohamed Al Abri
  • Volunteer Impact Award: Andrew Copolov
  • Volunteer Commitment Award: Glenys Watts
  • Young Volunteer Award: Thomas Volpe

Winners of the organisation awards are:

  • Volunteering Excellence – Volunteer Involving Organisation of the Year: Gig Workers’ Hub
  • Inclusive Volunteering Award: STEM Sisters
  • Volunteering Partnerships Award: Gig Workers’ Hub
  • Volunteering Innovation Award: What Were You Wearing? Australia
  • Grassroots Volunteering Award: The Sisterhood Project
