State
Awards

Award submissions close on Wednesday 30 September 5 pm.

In an ordinary year nearly 1 million volunteers across Victoria willingly give their time for the common good and without financial gain. They grow resilient communities and empowered, active people with depth, diversity and dedication that generate considerable social and economic value across our State.

Throughout 2020, COVID-19 has had a wide-ranging impact on volunteering in Victoria, Australia and worldwide. Volunteer programs have had to rapidly adapt to deliver essential services to communities and stay connected to their volunteer teams in this unprecedented time.

This year’s Volunteering Victoria State Awards will celebrate the programs that have demonstrated innovation and resilience in continuing to support their communities and programs that have provided considerable support and connection to their volunteer teams throughout periods of shutdown.
