Presented by Warrnambool City Council

Young people want to contribute to their communities, develop new skills and build connections, but traditional approaches to volunteering do not always meet their needs or expectations.

Drawing on a six-month regional Victorian inquiry, this webinar will explore how organisations can better engage young people through volunteer opportunities that are meaningful, flexible and youth-centred.

The session will share key findings, reflections from both young people and Volunteer-Involving Organisations, and practical recommendations to support more effective youth engagement. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of what to do, what to avoid, and how to create volunteering experiences that better support and empower young people.
