Know an amazing leader of volunteers?
Give them the recognition they deserve!
Behind every volunteer is someone making it happen. Someone who welcomes new faces, brings people together, helps volunteers grow and makes sure everyone feels valued for their contribution.
This International Volunteer Managers Day (5 November), we’re celebrating the people whose leadership makes positive, inclusive and meaningful volunteer experiences possible – through the launch of Volunteering Victoria’s 2026 Honour Roll for Leaders of Volunteers.
Whether they’re a volunteer coordinator, manager or team leader, we want to hear about them!
Celebrating the people behind volunteering
This year’s International Volunteer Managers Day theme, Legacy and Leadership: Honouring the Past, Present and Future, encourages us to reflect on the people whose leadership has made a difference.
It could be:
- A coordinator who made you feel welcome from day one.
- A manager who champions their volunteers and helps them thrive.
- Or a fellow leader who has inspired you in your own role.
Whoever comes to mind, we’d love to hear their story!
