In the lead up to the 2026 State Election, Volunteering Victoria is hosting the eagerly anticipated return of the Volunteering Political Forum.
The Forum will be an opportunity to celebrate volunteering in Victoria and hear directly from political representatives about:
- How their parties plan to recognise and value the vital contribution of volunteers
- Their views on the key issues, challenges and opportunities facing the volunteering sector
- Their priorities and focuses for volunteering beyond the election.
Join us to be part of the conversation, as we put volunteering on the agenda ahead of the state election.
Note: The Forum will be held immediately after our 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM), at the same venue.
Topics to be covered
- The cost of volunteering
- Volunteer recruitment and retention
- Barriers to volunteering
- Volunteer leadership and administration
- Best practice volunteering
