Volunteering Victoria is inviting Expressions of Interest to join our Board as a Volunteer Director.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the strategic governance of Victoria’s peak body for volunteering, helping to shape the future of volunteering across the state. We are seeking values-driven leaders who bring strong governance expertise and strategic insight into not-for-profits and volunteering, backed by relevant qualifications (ideally AICD or ICDA) or equivalent experience.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and lived experiences, and encourage EOIs from First Australians, people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, people with disability or lived experience of disadvantage, and other priority groups across Victoria.
Key Details
- Role: Volunteer Director (Board member)
- Commitment: Around 9–10 board meetings per year, plus subcommittee/working group participation as required

Selection
The Board will consider the Expressions of Interest and assess candidates against the criteria listed in the Information Pack below. Shortlisted candidates will be recommended to members for Election at our 2025 Annual General Meeting.
