Flexibility in volunteering is no longer a ‘nice to have’ – it’s essential. In this workshop, UK-based volunteering expert Rob Jackson will unpack what flexibility really means for volunteer-involving organisations and how it can be achieved in practice.
Drawing on insights from Victoria’s State of Volunteering Report, Rob will:
- explore common barriers to implementing flexible approaches;
- share examples of what’s working elsewhere, and;
- challenge us to think more creatively about how we engage volunteers in a changing environment.
