Overview

In the 2021 – 2022 budget the Commonwealth government announced a further $6.6 million to support the transition to the redesigned VMA. This grant round was non-competitive and available only to existing VMA funded services.

These services are undertaking a range of programs to deliver the aims of redesigned VMA including supporting best practice amongst Volunteer Involving organisations through connecting local organisations to online support, and focusing on breaking down barriers to volunteering at Volunteer Involving Organisations for the three identified priority groups: People living with Disability, Newly Arrived Migrants and First Nations Peoples.
